Autumn 2020 – Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, face to face teaching, apart from Letchworth Settlement classes, is suspended for the foreseeable future. Instead, why not join one of my online courses or workshops.
Perhaps you would like to join one of my day workshops. These focus on a specific skill or project and take place via Zoom. More details here.
If you are looking for a weekly class, then join one of my termly half-day courses in Letchworth.
I also offer Online classes. These are weekly sessions and follow a similar structure to my face to face weekly courses. If you like to have a guided learning environment then this is for you.
More details here.
Classes do assume a basic knowledge of sewing with a machine but if you are not at that point (yet!) then consider my Get to Know Your Sewing Machine workshop, during which you will learn about your sewing machine and its different features. I maintain an interest list for this and then run it when there are sufficient participants. Please email me to be added to the interest list.
If you are a busy person and would love to learn a new skill but you cannot commit to a regular time then you may like my Zoom VIP sessions. You get to work with me one to one. With my undivided attention, and a programme geared specifically to your requirements we can achieve so much. Book a VIP session with me via Zoom for just £25 per hour.
Additionally, I am now able to offer Online Talks. I have been told that I am an informative and entertaining speaker and I am in the process of re-writing all my talks to make them suitable for presentation via Zoom. Talks that are currently available to book are –
- “Traditional Made Modern” – a look at Modern Quilting, its origins and development together with a dip into the role of Modern Traditionalism within Patchwork and Quilting.
- “Challenge & Extend” – where I share with you my experiences of teaching and learning Patchwork & Quilting
