Patchwork and Quilting for Beginners and Improvers – Thursday afternoons – Watford

10 week course,  on Thursday afternoons from 1-3.30

In-person course taking place in my studio in Watford. They are small (maximum of 4 people in each class) Starts January 2025

This project is ideal for beginners and more experienced quilters.

A sampler quilt involves creating different block designs and joining them together.  We will use Quilt as you Go and have lots of fun with quilting the individual blocks.  You will have opportunities to design your own sampler from a variety of set blocks, and tailor it to the size you want.

During this course you will receive lots of individual attention during the classes and also have access to a private group for additional support.
In addition to the live classes there will be a full tutorial with photographs/diagrams.

This is a relaxed, informal class to learn the skills of machine patchwork and quilting and add a little design pizazz along the way! A range of techniques will be covered including rotary cutting, getting the best from your sewing machine, colour choices, machine piecing and quilting and basic construction methods.

All levels of experience are welcome.
