Saturday Live Course – Watford

6 month course, with one session per month on Saturday mornings from 10-12

nb - Due to a very busy year so far, the Autumn 2024 session is shorter than usual, and the project will be continued into 2025

Session dates - 12th October, 9th November, 14th December.  2025 dates to be confirmed.

The fee for October to December is £95.  The fee for October to June is £250

This project is ideal for beginners and more experienced quilters.

A sampler quilt involves creating different block designs and joining them together.  We will use Quilt as you Go and have lots of fun with quilting the individual blocks.  You will have opportunities to design your own sampler from a variety of set blocks, and tailor it to the size you want.

During this course you will receive lots of individual attention during the classes and also have access to a private group for additional support.
In addition to the live classes there will be a full tutorial with photographs/diagrams and also videos.

This is a relaxed, informal class to learn the skills of machine patchwork and quilting and add a little design pizazz along the way! A range of techniques will be covered including rotary cutting, getting the best from your sewing machine, colour choices, machine piecing and quilting and basic construction methods.

All levels of experience are welcome.
