Let's go "Beyond the Ditch"
Why is quilting your project so difficult? You know what it is like, you follow the instructions to create the quilt top and you reckon you have it all nailed. Then there is that phrase that strikes dread into our hearts ………………… “Quilt as Desired”.
This workshop will give you opportunity to look at lots of different designs that you can achieve quilting using your walking foot on your domestic sewing machine. Try out lots of different designs for quilting using your walking foot and gain the confidence to go "Beyond the Ditch .....!"
- During this day you will learn about setting up your machine for successful quilting using your walking foot
- linear designs, concentric designs, radiating designs and spirals
- decorative stitches
Following the workshop you will have the confidence to apply what you have learnt to quilting your own projects.

This was a very good workshop, done on Zoom. Great for me as I live in France and cannot get to ‘in person’ classes.
We had a few things to prepare for the day and were told well in advance. I learned things I had not known.
Sheena went at a good pace for us and the group learning on the day was not too big. We got chance to ask questions and go over uncertainties her explanations were clear.
I would like to do another Zoom class with Sheena.
